The Unwanted Roommate
It was the middle of summer and the heat was unbearable. I had just moved into my new apartment and was in dire need of a fan. I went to the store and purchased the biggest, worst fan they had. It took up half of my bedroom, but I didn’t care. I just wanted to be cool.
A few days after I got the fan, my roommate moved in. She was a nice girl and we got along well, but she hated the fan. She said it was too loud and it blew her hair around. I tried to explain to her that it was hot and I needed it, but she wouldn’t listen. We argued about the fan every day until she finally agreed to buy her fan.
Now, every night we go to bed with our respective fans blowing on us. It’s not ideal, but at least we’re both happy and cool.
Chapter 1
It had been a long day. I’d been working at my new job for about a month now, and I was starting to get into the groove of things. I’d just gotten home and was looking forward to relaxing in my apartment when I heard a loud knock on the door.
I opened it to find my new roommate, Ben. He was a tall guy with dark hair and an easy smile. We’d met briefly when I moved in, but he’d been out of town for the past few weeks.
He came in without waiting for an invitation and plopped down on the couch. “Hey, man, how’s it going?” he said.
I sighed. I’d been hoping for some alone time, but it looked like that was not going to happen. “It’s going,” I said noncommittally.
Ben didn’t seem to notice my lack of enthusiasm. “So, what do you want to do tonight?” he asked.
I shrugged. “I don’t know. What do you want to do?”
He thought for a moment. “I don’t know… watch TV? Play some video games? Get something to eat?”
I suppressed a groan. It was going to be a long night.
The day I moved in with my new roommate from hell
The day I moved in with my new roommate from hell was one of the worst days of my life. My new roommate, who I’ll call Sarah, was a stranger to me. She was loud, obnoxious, and always had something to complain about. On top of that, she was constantly inviting friends over to our small apartment, which made it impossible for me to get any peace.
Sarah and I didn’t get along from the start. She would criticize everything I did, from the way I decorated our shared living space to the food I cooked for myself. It felt like she was always trying to pick a fight with me. And when she wasn’t picking fights with me, she was making snide comments about me to her friends.
The final straw came when Sarah threw a huge party at our apartment without even asking me if it was alright first. The noise level was deafening, and there were people everywhere – including in my bedroom! When I confronted Sarah about it, she just shrugged and said that I should have been more understanding since she’s “such a social person.”
Needless to say, I moved out of that apartment as soon as possible. Living with Sarah was a nightmare, and I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone.
The Unwanted Roommate
It was the middle of summer and I had just moved into my new apartment. I was so excited to finally have my place, but that excitement quickly faded when I met my new roommate. He was a slob and constantly left his dirty dishes in the sink. He would also blast his music at all hours of the night, keeping me up until the early hours of the morning. I tried talking to him about it, but he just shrugged it off and said that I was being too sensitive.
I couldn’t take it anymore. I was exhausted from lack of sleep and constantly cleaning up after him. I decided to move out and find another place to live. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it to get away from that nightmare of a roommate.

The Unwanted Roommate – Chapter 1
It was the middle of summer and the apartment was stifling hot. I had just moved into my new place, and I was already regretting it. My roommate was a slob and the apartment was a mess. I was starting to think that living alone might have been a better option.
I was on the verge of asking my roommate to move out when he did something that changed my mind. He came home late one night, drunk and disorderly. I told him to go to bed and sleep it off, but he refused. He wanted to party and make noise all night long.
I tried to reason with him, but it was pointless. He didn’t care about my needs or concerns. It was clear that he wasn’t going to change his ways, so I had no choice but to ask him to move out.
